Which is why I always --purge, since I don't like having billions of
useless configuration files sitting around. :)

Oh, like 80% of the other messages aren't at this point? :) It applies to
the usage of X11.app, and is at least somewhat topical in that respect. I
mean, I've gone back to XDarwin at this point but I still think I have some
value to add to the discussion, specifically because of the amount of
cross-pollination in "using X11" and "using UNIX" or "using fink" or
whatever. (I mean, usually people only start dealing with fink after they
have a reason to, namely a GUI for the UNIX side of things... Terminal.app
doesn't seem to foster much UNIX-side stuff. :)
