My favorite is pwm. It takes a bit of effort to configure, but it's well
worth it. http://www.students.tut.fi/~tuomov/pwm/
It works great in both XDarwin and X11.App (aside from the usual menubar
issues), and you can configure any part of the window to behave any way you
like. For example, I have it so that dragging borders moves and dragging
corners resizes.
The best part of it is that you can associate multiple windows into a
single frame as a tabbed group. :)
It's also very minimal - just a small title-tab and a border. No window
decorations or anything (that's what mouse buttons and keyboard keys are
for!) and it doesn't minimize, it only supports shading a tab group.
It's quite lovely. :)
