You could try replacing the files 'config.guess' and 'config.sub' that
come with this package with those that come with Mac OS X. Pre-Mac OS
X 10.2, they are in /usr/libexec. For 10.2 and later, you have two
versions to choose from: one in /usr/share/libtool and one in
/usr/share/automake-1.6.
