Noooooooooo!!!
Please. I do not want fink installed on my machine. I just don't. k?

You can start using many "UNIX" apps without installing fink, and without compiling from source. Look around.
Even mysql-4.0.11 is a binary installer now. In fact, you have your choice of 2 different MySQL binary installers
if you include mysql-3.23.54.

True, fink makes some stuff easier to install and uninstall, but I just don't want it.

In the final release of Apple X11 I want these kinds of things
pre-installed including fink and everything it needs so I can start
using UNIX applications on my Mac now.

Asam...
