Hi,
Don't have the specific answer but as a work around you might try twm.
It seems to allow fuller window sizes. You can edit
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xinit/xinitrc and put 'twm' for 'quartz-wm'.

Hi
I have just upgraded to 10.3 and its versions of X11 and X11 sdk...
was previously running with 10.2.6 and X11beta 0.3...
I now find it impossible to open a window larger than a single
display.... so though X11 recognises a display area of 2048, 768 it
will only open a window of 1024, 768..... this prevents all stereo
applications that run horizontal split or crosseye working as only the
left eye displays.... we have run tests and it appears to be a window
manager problem which was not there in previous versions of X11...
Is there a way to force X11 to increase it's window to 2048, 768.... ?
Is there an alterantive window manager that will work with 10.3...?
will the old X11 beta 3 work with 10.3 and if so, which files need to
be removed to avoid problems?
I have a demo in a couple of days where we are pitting stereo on the
mac upgainst an SGI Onyx RealtyMonster and we normally blow it
away.... until this upgrade....
many thanks
phil
