Folks:
With a working Apple X11 beta, Matlab, and 10.2.8, I have just made the
mistake of upgrading (I'm at 10.3.1) and installed the Matlab for
Panther. Of course it doesn't work. It all went on fine. However,
the license manager doesn't start at start up - and if I try ./lmstart
in the right /Applications/MATLAB6p5p1/etc directory it won't start -
it reports that it can't remove files owned by root - which turn out
to be owned by me. Attempting to start gives a -15 error, the fixes on
the Mathworks sight are for 10.1 and 10.2 for this problem. They don't
work. Does anyone have any suggestions? Does anyone have the new
service release of Matlab running under 10.3.1? This install is on a
Titanium Powerbook. Does anyone know of a more appropriate list to ask
this question?
Thanks
Steve Addison
