I have been noticing that my X11 applications do not look the same on
Apple's X11 as they do on X11 I am using that comes with YellowDog Linux
on the same iBook (600MHz w/ Radeon). For example, when I run Bluefish
HTML editor in OSX w/ Apple's X11 (or even XDarwin with Fluxbox) the
applications and content are smaller and harder to read.
What causes this and is there a fix?
On YellowDog Linux (on the same hardware) they are like normally
expected on other Linux distributions. Below are links to screenshots
from my iBook running OSX and Linux.
