The warning about security is worth paying attention to. You should
never use 'xhost +'. You are allowing any host anywhere to connect to
your local server if you do that. A client connected to your server
can see everything any other client does on that server. It can see
every keystroke you type. This includes passwords you type, etc. Just
say "no" to xhost +. Use it only for quick tests, then quickly disable
it with xhost -.

Have you tried:

What is the command syntax for xhost + ?
that's it - type
xhost + 'return'
in your shell - you'll get some info you having disabled some security
stuff
rlogin -l username servername
Connection was refused by SuSE Linux box at internal IP address
hmmm - don't know about that, but probably (in my thoroughly
unknowledgable opinion) some security issue....
or
ssh -x servername
XLib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
XLib: Invalid MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1-KEY
giving up
xinit: unable to connect to X server
xinit: no such process (errno 3): Server error
do you have a ~/.xinit file? If not tjeck e.g. the FINK homepage for
some info on that. Are you able to start X-events from a non-X shell
(Terminal.app)?
Sorry I couldn't offer any quick fix - I'm certainly *not* a
UNIX-wiz...
All the best,
Steffen
