Fink Note: This release works with fink. Do NOT install the
Xquartz-1.3.0-apple-fink binary after installing this package.
Help me out here - I'm an end user. Don't care about Fink and surely don't think it
is a pivotal component in defining software standards, I don't build X apps, I just
need stuff to work predictably. Perhaps I am typical of 90% of all X users - dunno.
Anyway, there's been a lot of activity with this little project and there's been some
forks here and there, and if I'm not mistaken, a couple of "oh, by the way" things.
What I'd like to know is, what do I need to do to go from my box stock Leopard X11
installation (xquartz upgraded to 1.30a2) to the lastest/greatest bump? Anything more
than dragging the current X environment to the trash can and installing this new
version? I just seem to have a recollection of a post going by that says to change
some library.
