XINERAMA and PseudoramiX are, AFAICT, the same thing.
About the names:
Originally, X11 handled screens as wholly independent objects. Windows
could not span or cross screen.
The PanoramiX extension made one big X11 "screen" that spanned all
monitors. A program needed to call the PanoramiX functions if it
wanted to know where the physical monitors were.
Xinerama is an extended version of PanoramiX.
PseudoramiX is Xquartz's implementation of Xinerama/PanoramiX.
PseudoramiX is stripped-down compared to the ordinary implementations
because Mac OS X handles screen-crossing windows and drawing for us.
