By any chance do folks need to run catman and makewhatis ??
BSD use to >>not<< build the man pages for anything automatically.. The
administrator or root account needed to do both after installing any new
patch/applicaion.

I have not yet updated to Leopard.. Still running a few old tools.

Hope this helps.. I remember the joy/pain with the last major update :->
