I am a recent follower to Leopard and now stuck unable to use the
keyboard for a particular X application - cached passwords work still
- so not all is lost. Workaround for me so far is to run a virtual
session and use this system to access 'non-cached' - really backwards
if you ask me.
I'm in the middle of trying to reinstall Tiger version to see if this
works if not I may have to ditch Leopard until it is more stable :
( Loved the features so far but lack of full functioning X11 is a bummer

I had X11 installed in Tiger. I presume it updated in Leopard?
Oh, yes. The X11 in Leopard is completely new, based on a different
upstream codebase and with myriad changes. We've been talking about
several things that it broke (although it has some nice features,
too).
You can revert to the X11 that came with Tiger if it's causing
headaches for you.
In the case of OpenOffice, I would also suggest that you give
NeoOffice a try - it's an Aqua reimplementation of OpenOffice, no X11
required. Since it's Java, it's slower, which is a deal-breaker for
some people, but I've been happy with it myself. Not that I won't
still be happy when OpenOffice finishes their own native Aqua port.
How is the NeoOffice support for data sources connections? The
mainstream
OO broke my connectors for MySQL recently. I don't have versions
available
right now as I'm busy installing Tiger on a new hard drive in my PPC
Mac
Mini (the 80GB drive failed so I got to get my hands dirty digging
into the
little bugger tonight :-).
The Mac Store in Seattle didn't have a copy of Leopard this
afternoon when
I picked up the new hard drive so I'm saved from that temptation
tonight.
