XDMCP flashes

  • Subject: XDMCP flashes

When I try to connect to my linux server via XDMCP with the following
command, the "window" that starts drawing on the screen keeps flashing
in and out of focus approximately once per second and every time it
flashes into focus it starts drawing the window in blocks
(512-pixels-ish) anew.

It would be comical if it weren't so downright unusable. I tried
disabling spaces altogether, with no effect.

/usr/X11R6/bin/Xquartz -query (my server ip) -once
