This is a known problem, having to do with faulty HTML on some
reference pages. No need to file a bug--there is one already.
(In most cases, the problem that is causing the scanner to bail is a
bogus "FONT" attribute inside of a <font> tag near the top of these
documents, like so:
<h1><font face="lucida grande, geneva, helvetica, arial, sans-serif"
FONT COLOR="#000066">
Removing that attribute should fix things.)
