Application runs in xcode but not on its own

  • Subject: Application runs in xcode but not on its own

Is there something I am missing that allows the application to run on its own? I have compiled and run the application many times. I have been working on it for a while but for some reason when I got to a point where I wanted to show it off the application will not run on its own. It bounces a few times then crashes. But Works ok from the run button in xcode. Any ideas why?
