Not only that, it makes life *much* more difficult. In my app, we have
to use the 10.2 SDK which is hardcoded in the XCode project to 10.2.8.
If you don't use the CD updater, you only have a 10.2.7 SDK and so it
won't build unless you make other changes.

Try explaining that to an external contributor who probably does not
have ADC access. Even if they do, 600MB is a non-trivial download for
anyone not at a major corporation.

Please, please, please, never do this again. Everyone needs to be on the
same page when it comes to dev tools, having multiple (incompatible)
versions of the same tools helps nobody.
