Is there anyway to shut off the alert sound when XCode decides it
doesn't like the current syntax involving parens, brackets, braces,
etc? (Other than shutting off sound or reducing Alert volume to 0?)
For instance, a line like '// 1) a comment' will cause a 'bonk' noise
to be generated as soon as the ')' char is typed - and this on a line
that has already been recognized as a comment.
You should take a look on PBXBeepOnNoMatchingBrace in the expert
preferences (in the help menu of XCode):
PBXBeepOnNoMatchingBrace:
If YES, beeps when typing a closing brace that does not match an
opening brace or when double-clicking a brace that cannot be matched.
YES by default.
