Hi,
This is, I am sure, a really easy question, but it's stumped me. I
used to be able to view my errors and warnings in the editor and now
they do not show up? There used to be little red marks in the gutter
where the line number is and now they aren't there. The only way I
can view them is to automatically open it in the preferences, but it's
really annoying. Also, when I build and run my file, it doesn't run
any more and the run log doesn't pop up.
I'm sure that this is just some stupid preference, but I have tried to
look for it and I can't find it. I'm sorta a newbie (can't you
tell?).
Thanks
Jay
I've not had a similar problem so I'm not sure of the solution but one
thing to try would be to remove (or rename) the current xcode
preference file.
The preference file is in <user
name>/Library/Preferences/com.apple.xcode.plist
Removing/Renaming the file would start your preferences from the
defaults. If doing this does not fix your problem than it is likely
it's not a preference issue.
