Jon,
As I mentioned in the part you cut out:
"when I try to compile it, xcode cannot find iostream.h even though
"iostream.h" will open-quickly without problem. I tried changing my
header paths but that does not seem to help."
Essentially I am looking for a simple xcode project that compiles and
runs that contains a try, a throw and a catch. Can anyone help me?
Jeremy

Obviously I am a newbie with Xcode and C++ exceptions but I can't
understand why this other simple program I found online does not
compile.
"does not compile" is not a very helpful thing to tell us.
How exactly did you go about trying to compile?
What happened? Error messages would be nice.
For the record, the code compiles and runs just fine for me.
