XCode 2.1 breakpoints not working for command line apps?

I have a command-line tool that I've been porting to the Mac, and I
could debug it fine with XCode 2.0 (well, "fine" is relative with gdb/
Xcode). I'm excited about the new debugging features in 2.1,
however, I'm having trouble setting just ordinary breakpoints.
When I click to set a breakpoint (or use the right click menu), the
dark icon appears in the gutter. When I look at the breakpoints
window, I see the breakpoint listed (although there is an oddness -
the checkbox is in the mixed state by default. I've checked it
fully, but that doesn't help my problem). If I open the gdb console
and type "info breakpoints", I see it:
Num Type Disp Enb Address What
1 breakpoint keep y <PENDING> "read_cd_drive.c:186
(I'm also confused why the address is "PENDING").
Anyway, no matter what, I don't break. I've tried many breakpoints,
ones I am 100% sure the code is hitting, to no avail. This is a
development build, the -g flag is specified.
Any ideas?
My cocoa apps break fine.
Note, when I run gdb on the command line, and type "b read_cd_drive.c:
186, the breakpoint works fine. I do get this when I do info
breakpoints:
1 breakpoint keep y 0x0003da70 in GetCDRomPlistFSSpec at
read_cd_drive.c:186
Thanks,
-Arshad
