The first thing you might try is to ensure that you use the same
version of GCC.
Xcode 2.x on Mac OS X 10.4 defaults to GCC 4.x, while Xcode 1.x on
Mac OS X 10.3 defaults to GCC 3.3. You can change the compiler in the
build rules for your targets, or globally using gcc_select on the CLI.
