I want to build the ppc part of my app using gcc-3.3 to support Mac OS
X versions prior to 10.3.9. I'm aware of the SDKSample provided by
Chris Espinosa. But I want to avoid duplicate targets to build my app.
Is there a way to use only one target and build for the ppc
architecture using gcc-3.3 and build for the i386 architecture using
gcc-4.0?
I'm using Xcode 2.1.
Answer: use Xcode 2.2.
GCC_VERSION_i386=4.0
GCC_VERSION_ppc=3.3
MACOSX_DEPLOYMENT_TARGET_i386=10.3
MACOSX_DEPLOYMENT_TARGET_ppc=10.4
Select and Premiere members can download early Beta versions now, and
it should be available to all online members soon.
