Here, here.  I do the same as Sean--I'm still in CW fully, and I use Xcode
as a backup to catch different warnings and compare performance (until the
day Xcode moves past CW).  But when I'm in the Xcode editor, the most basic
things are often this 1-2 second business, as Sean described.
Unfortunately, these little delays totally disrupt a fast-moving dev's train
of thought and workflow.

Although the fellow who made the comment about the xcode team shouldn't be
allowed to work on machines faster than a Mini made the comment in part to
make his point, I think there's something there.  It would be an honest and
reasonable gesture for the xcode team to work off of machines no faster than
700Mhz G4s for, say, two weeks.  After that, I have little doubt that they
would also experience these workflow-killing issues.
