No launchable executable
No launchable executable

I intermittently keep getting this error and it seems like it is random.
My project builds fine but when I do a build+run command, the
debugger brings up a dialog that says "No launchable executable at
path" and the path is "Volumes/Porky/Development/MetroC/Metro6.3.2/
MetroMachO/build/Debug/Metro G4.app/Contents/MacOS/Metro G4"
The problem is that that is an invalid path. Inside of the "build"
directory there is no Debug directory. The "Debug" directory is
inside another directory entitled "Metro.build" so that the correct
path might be "Volumes/Porky/Development/MetroC/Metro6.3.2/MetroMachO/
build/Metro.build /Debug/Metro G4.app/Contents/MacOS/Metro G4".
I did change my installation directory to "/../" and I changed my
installation build products directory to nothing because I want to
have the executable located at "Volumes/Porky/Development/MetroC/
Metro6.3.2". This all works fine except for this very annoying and
intermittent problem where the debugger is looking in the wrong place
for the executable.
I can sometimes correct this problem by building the release version
before the debug version or by deleting the alias located in the
build directory or by closing and reopening the project.
Any help greatly appreciated,
Jeremy
