I can't seem to get xcodebuild to distribute builds to my build

The same project with the same target and configuration distributes
fine to other machines in the farm, however xcodebuild just runs a
plan 'CompileC' action and not the 'Distributed-CompileC' action I
see the from the XCode UI.
Am I missing something here ? Did this feature go away ?
If you find out anything, let me know. I've had problems with
distributed compiling before but at Xcode 1.5 I had it working
(mostly). With 2.0 (can't say for 2.1, still on the road) I've had
nothing but problems: The machine not recognizing itself as
compatible (or as available) and (among other things) the same thing
you see: Xcode starts distributed compiling, xcodebuild doesn't, no
matter what I do.
