Obj-C files (.m files) with C++ code does not compile.

Obj-C files with C++ code (IOW Obj-C++ files) should have an .mm extension. Then it will work just fine.

Another (less optimal) alternative, is to set the filetype in the file reference inspector so those files are treated as Objective-C++ files. I'd only go down this path if you can't alter the extensions on the files.
