For the quickest help with Shark, use the perftools- email@hidden address (shown in Shark's About box).

It sounds like something went wrong with the installation. Can you install the latest CHUD package from:

ftp://ftp.apple.com/developer/Tool_Chest/Testing_-_Debugging/ Performance_tools/

And let us know if that fixes things. Thanks.

(NOTE: the package from our FTP site is newer than what gets installed with Xcode 2.1.)
