As someone else has already said, try using DarwinPorts to get
it. DarwinPorts has become much easier to install in recent
months, so getting Subversion up and running should be pretty easy
at this point.
I've always gone to http://www.codingmonkeys.de/mbo/ for Martin
Ott's prebuilt Subversion binaries. Good for 10.3 and 10.4.
Also http://metissian.com/projects/macosx/subversion/ if you need SSL
or JavaHL bindings (not sure if Martin Ott's one have ssl)
