ok I reinstalled the XCode 2.2 and got the right About Box info,

Component version is saying 514.0
Is should read:
Component versions
Xcode IDE: 655.0
Xcode Core: 658.0
ToolSupport: 651.0
If you have multiple partitions on your machine then the Xcode in
your dock might be from one of those other partitions. Use Finder
and navigate directly to /Developer/Applications/Xcode.app and
launch that. If that still says Xcode 2.0 then run the un-installer
in /Developer/Tools:
Terminal prompt> sudo /Developer/Tools/uninstall-devtools.pl
Then re-install Xcode 2.2.
