To work around this, turn -off- "Dead Code Stripping" and turn -on- "Use
Separate Strip". (I'm not strictly sure that turning off Dead Code
Stripping is necessary, but it had no ill effect. Turning on "Use
Separate Strip" is definitely the key.)
