What do you mean by the target settings?

In your Project, under Groups & Files, there's a Targets group. Click on the disclosure triangle to show your app's target. Click on that target, and bring up the Inspector. Click on the Build tab. Select "Debug" under the Configuration popup. Now search for ZeroLink. If there's a checkbox next to it (there is by default), ZeroLink is on.

In Xcode 2.2, you can turn off ZeroLink entirely (overriding any build configurations you have set) by clicking on the Build menu and unchecking the Allow ZeroLink menu item. Note that this will increase build times.
