Adding an executable to a copy file phase

  • Subject: Adding an executable to a copy file phase

Hi all,

I have a project containing a bundle that copies some files into its
PlugIns directory. Now I need to put a program in there as well. I
created a target for the executable but can't figure out how to add
that executable to the copy file phase.

I can't drag and drop it within XCode and neither can I from the Finder.

Also, the default directory for shell tools is /usr/local/bin, which
is not writable without authentification via sudo. Can I set up XCode
so that it asks me to type in my password before trying to install a
program in /usr/local/bin which it will fail to accomplish?
