There seems to be something strange about the new XCode 2.4 (on 10.4.7, ppc.) It throws up a number of segment overlap in framework errors that weren't present in 2.3. For instance:
ld: warning prebinding disabled because (__TEXT segment (address = 0x926c0000 size = 0x2b5000) of /System/Library/Frameworks/QuickTime.framework/Versions/A/QuickTime overlaps with __TEXT segment (address = 0x92862000 size = 0x386000) of /System/Library/Frameworks/Carbon.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks/HIToolbox.framework/Versions/A/HIToolbox ld: warning prebinding disabled because (__TEXT segment (address = 0x926c0000 size = 0x2b5000) of /System/Library/Frameworks/QuickTime.framework/Versions/A/QuickTime overlaps with __TEXT segment (address = 0x927f0000 size = 0x38000) of /System/Library/Frameworks/CoreServices.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks/CFNetwork.framework/Versions/A/CFNetwork ld: warning prebinding not disabled even though (__TEXT segment (address = 0x926c0000 size = 0x2b5000) of /System/Library/Frameworks/QuickTime.framework/Versions/A/QuickTime overlaps with __LINKEDIT segment (address = 0x92828000 size = 0x9e58) of /System/Library/Frameworks/CoreServices.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks/CFNetwork.framework/Versions/A/CFNetwork on the assumption that the stripped output will not overlap ld: warning prebinding not disabled even though (__LINKEDIT segment (address = 0x92975000 size = 0x55c9c) of /System/Library/Frameworks/QuickTime.framework/Versions/A/QuickTime overlaps with __TEXT segment (address = 0x92862000 size = 0x386000) of /System/Library/Frameworks/Carbon.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks/HIToolbox.framework/Versions/A/HIToolbox on the assumption that the stripped output will not overlap
Could this be something I did? Or have things moved around in the frameworks? What's the work-around for this?
