Title: Xcode 2.4 hits an assert
I am trying to use Xcode with the Intel Fortran compiler to compile and build a command line program from a dozen or so Fortran90 source files. I had been using the Xcode 2.2 which came with my MacBook Pro, but recently I downloaded Xcode 2.4. Prior to the update, Xcode was successfully compiling my source code, although I hadn't gotten all my libraries to load successfully. Now, however, since the update, Xcode hits an assert, apparently before it starts to compile anything. Here is the message that I get in the Build Results window:
Checking DependenciesInternal error occurred while creating dependency graph: ASSERTION FAILURE in /SourceCache/DevToolsBase/DevToolsBase-757/pbxcore/SpecificationTypes/XCCompilerSpecification.m:388 (object=<XCCompilerSpecification:0x01448fb0>, selector=computeDependenciesForInputFile:ofType:variant:architecture:outputDirectory:inTargetBuildContext:): Assertion failed: [outputs areAllObjectsKindOfClass:[XCDependencyNode class]]
Does anybody out there have any idea what's happening, or why what was at least compiling under Xcode 2.2 won't even do that much under Xcode 2.4? I imagine that there is a good reason, but it sure feels like I'm going backwards...
