Please try not to make it a Mac specific problem; it isn't a Mac specific problem at all. It crops up on Macs more frequently simply because Mac users are less aware of or willing to accept the silly limitations placed upon filesystems by some common operating systems (8.3 anyone?)


Same goes for opaque collections -- a solution to said problem is generally useful and would address a major barrier to entry for use and deployment of Svn into various non-development workflows.
