I am trying to build a release version of a universal binary using XCode 2.3:
Component versions
Xcode IDE: 744.0
Xcode Core: 747.0
ToolSupport: 733.0
I have set these variables:
GCC_VERSION_i386 = 4.0
GCC_VERSION_ppc = 4.0
MACOSX_DEPLOYMENT_TARGET_i386 = 10.4
MACOSX_DEPLOYMENT_TARGET_ppc = 10.3
SDKROOT_i386 = /Developer/SDKs/MacOSX10.4u.sdk
SDKROOT_ppc = /Developer/SDKs/MacOSX10.3.9.sdk
I am getting undefined symbol errors for __Unwind_Resume. I have seen Eric
Albert's suggestion that a file needs to be defined as a C++ file (there
are lots of them in the project) or that LD should be defined as g++. But I
think it is already linking with g++; here is a fragment of the link
command:
Ld
"/IgorDev/Igor6XcodeProject/build/Igor.build/Release/Igor.build/Objects-normal/i386/Igor
Pro" normal i386
cd /IgorDev/Igor6XcodeProject
/usr/bin/g++-4.0 -o ...
What's the solution here? Use XCode 2.4?

John Weeks
