I looked at Apple's CoreRecipe sample project because this has an automator
action in it. In this project, unlike all the tutorials I read on "creating
an automator project", the action "project" is not a separate project but is
in fact a Target within the CoreRecipes application project. This makes a
lot more sense to me than starting a new project, but I don't see how they
did it.
My Xcode/Cocoa App project will not accept their Action Target as a drag and
drop. When I try to add a new target, the closest template I can find is
Cocoa > Loadable Bundle. But the Properties tab of this target is different
than the one in the CoreRecipes action. Instead of a table os Settings and
Values at the bottom, I get the usual list of "Document Types", as though
this target were an application.
How do I make one of these "Automator Action" targets within an existing
application project?
