One nice thing about Xcode is that each type of application gets you started. So just create a "Carbon C console" program, for example, and Xcode gives you a full sample that you can compile and run. Then you can modify it as you want. Same thing for creating shared libraries, etc.

Subject: What documentation I need to start programming

Hi!

I have my x-code installed and now I'd like to start
writting some code.
On Apple's site it's a lot of documentation but I don't
know where to start from.
It takes a lot of time to download the manuals and, maybe
all my life to read them.

Do you have any tip on the "must" documentation, to start
programming as soon as possible?
I am a programmer but I am really new to the Mac
environment. I got a little bit used to the Interface and
now I'd like to start programming.
I've downloaded the AppleScript Guide and I thought to
start with.

Thanks,
Miky
