I'm just getting started on the universal binary thing. My application builds fine as native x86 architecture. When I add ppc, I get the error listed below. I've looked through documentation and tried Google, but haven't found anything yet. Any insight will be appreciated.

gcc-3.3: installation problem, cannot exec `cc1obj': No such file or directory

Have you noticed the part of the Universal Binary Programming Guide where it says you should use GCC 4.0 and the 10.4u SDK to build universal binaries?

I use the 10.4u SDK for both architecture builds, but you do have to use gcc 3.3 for the PPC build if you want it to run on a pre-10.3.9 system.
