Just upgraded to today's release of XCode 2.3 (which is now based on gcc 4.0.1), and one of the codegen bugs appears to have been fixed! (yay!) The other one turned out to be my own bloody fault, writing one element off a stack array; I'm amazed it worked at all in the first place... live and learn. :-)
