Only the Xcode 2.3 (and greater) tools will read the DWARF produced
by the Xcode 2.3 tools. And Xcode 2.3 is only supported on Mac OS X
10.4.

For those of us (like me) who still deploy and thus debug on these
versions it may be a drawback.
