Oh, that's fine. I would expect or want anything else.

and will add the corresponding entry to Previous Recipients again if you end up sending the message without editing the address first... :-)

This is the part I'd like to stop. For example, I have maybe four people in my address book whose names start with "Chris." When I type those letters, I want to see one of those four addresses completed and a list of those four, not a list of 27 that has to be scrolled to see any of the four addresses in my address book and an auto completed address of someone on an Apple mailing list who posted a question to which I replied three months ago. A list of previous recipients would be handy at times, but if I'm typing an address manually I probably know the person well enough to have him in my address book.
