You are not able to drag a folder into the project and add it to the project?

In order to add a folder to the project, you need to click "Create Fodler References for any added folders" and check the check mark for "Copy items into destination group's folder(if needed)" in order to copy the folder to the project.

Thanks Gouri. That sort of works. Only issue now is that no matter what destination I choose in the copy files build phase palette, it puts the folder inside "Resources". If possible, I'd like it to be at the same level as the resources folder.

Are you sure you added a Copy Files build phase and not a Copy Bundle Resources one?

Pretty sure. I created it using the "Project->New Build Phase->New Copy Files Build Phase"

In the Copy Files phase inspector, there's a field to enter a path for where to copy it to.

I must be missing something...

I just did a systematic test where I selected every option in the "Destinations" popup in the "General" tab of the of the build phase in question, both with and without the "Contents" folder in the path entry field, and made sure the "Copy only when installing" is unchecked. Same result every time The folder winds up in the "Contents/Resources/" folder.

Are build phases just there to ensure the files end up in the built project? Not necessarily to define where in the project they end up?

Ken
