If I click on the Add Localizations button in Xcode, it presents a
list populated with English, Japanese, French and German. I have
several localizations besides those.
It's not official documentation, but you can always see what Apple is
using in their applications. I think it's safe to assume they'll
continue to support the old names like English.lproj for a long time
since it's easy to do and it wouldn't be very smart of them to break
the majority of third-party applications. But the ISO codes should be
fine as well. It's unlikely you're going to provide a localization
Mac OS X can't recognize.
