I will argue to this.
For example we have own hierarchy of a lots of sources and projects.
We use CW (dies), xcode, visual and now makefiles on linux.
We extract this hierarchy from CVS to all 3 platforms on different
computers.
We have try to use linux IDE for c++, and it strictly want own hierarchy.
Stupid?
I do not want that IDE have force me move files as IT want.
It should use files which are where ME want.
