Why is even an option instead of just doing it all the time?
More often than not, the HFS metadata for bundle resources is
extraneous and it's only the data in the files that matter. After
all, you'll generally be accessing them via NSBundle or CFBundle APIs
which take a name and path extension. Your application may also be
run from a filesystem that doesn't support or preserve HFS metadata.
