XCode 3.0 Cocoa/Carbon templates will not compile out of the box

Yikes! I just did a fresh install of Leopard 9A321 and tried out XCode on a fresh Cocoa Application template. Nothing fancy, just a new project and hit the 'Build' button and immediate got errors when it was trying to compile the precompiled headers. Tried the same thing with a fresh Carbon app and got a different error. Can't believe this slipped by QA but wanted to check before filing a bug that something so simple as a canned template is failing to build.
