When you have a project set up to build a universal binary, the
"Compile" command only compiles one architecture (presumably the
architecture of the machine running Xcode?).
I have a project with over a thousand files, which takes hours to
build, and I just want to force one file to compile because for some
reason Xcode doesn't realize that one of its included headers has
changed. The Compile command won't do it, the "Touch" command has no
effect whatsoever, clicking in the 'hammer' column of the project
view shows a tick which immediately disappears, making a modification
to the file and undoing it makes SCM freak out. The only thing which
seems to work is using the Unix "touch" command, which is a step back
20 years.
Any ideas?
