Humm... I don't see this issue. I have tried turning off the gutter as well. I always see about 4 pixels of space. You sure you don't have a horizontal scroller showing and scrolled to the right some?

No, it happens even in windows with nothing to scroll. Here are two comparison shots:

The green at the left here is my desktop background picture. So you can see there's no courtesy pixels at the left of the editing pane.



Maybe try clobbering the user related files in your project's bundle...?

I've only tried the ATSUI, Contextual Menu plugin, and CoreText examples from Apple so far. I hope I'm not going to have to do this for every project I maintain :-/
