I've checked the release notes that Chris sent, the doc that came

didn't see a mention of this.
'gcc_select' is not on my disk, even though I have several
versions of gcc installed (at least according to "/usr/include/
gcc/darwin" :-}).
Xcode no longer ships with a gcc_select tool. To switch compilers,
you'll need to double-click on the target whose compiler you want
to change, go to the "Rules" tab, and select the compiler you'd
like to use.
The only problem now is that my Terminal window doesn't have a
"Rules" tab. What do those of us with a history of GUI rejection do?
Thanks!
Justin
If you use the tools from terminal,
you can set the Make variable CC to point to exactly the gcc version
you want.
